Dr. Beckwith received his B.S. from the University of Houston. He then attended the University of Texas, where he studied in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science and was awarded certification as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. In 1972, Dr. Beckwith graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry and was granted his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors. He also earned the high privilege of being licensed by the state of Texas to practice therapeutic optometry. When you visit Dr. Beckwith for treatment, you are putting your vision in trusted hands.

While Dr. Beckwith invites all patients to benefit from his first-rate experience (over 46 years practicing optometry!), he has a particular interest in treating complicated vision problems.
